According to autotrader in 2005 there was a Facelift on the Fabia VRS, does anyone know what this included?

As said above and few other little things like plastic badge on engine cover instead of coloured and no rear door pins. Think there was a few other things to save abit of cash too.

Some of the facelift ones had colour coded door handles

My dads old 54 plate vrs did, my old 06 plate vrs didn't have them but my 07 vrs se does.

Different design to the fog lights too.

Was the BLT engine introduced at the time of the facelift also?

Colour coded door handles were introduced during the 56 plate.

Think that was like a 56 on change like a second face lift so to speak and the blt came inbetween the two. Bit confusing if you ask me.

Ah possibly, that would make more sense. Mine was a facelift asz, but didn't have colour coded door handles

What's the difference between ASZ and BLT?

Euro emissions compliance.  EGR is different amongst other things.  As Joe says, lots of threads covering that already.

Gearbox changed late 2003 / early 04 (to shorter ratio's)

Tailights changed late 2004

Dash top changed in 2005

Engine changed in late 2005 / early 2006 from asz to blt

Front grille changed in 2005 from straight cut to angled

Asr display changed in 2005 from a warning triangle to a sliding car

Colour coded door handles late 06

Yellow changed from lemon yellow to sprint (brighter) late 2006

Rear door pin delete 2005

Battery cover missing on later blt engines

Engine cover badge turned black late 05

I think thats all the changes but i may have forgot a few over the years

Middle rear headrest was added in the 2005 change, i think. Don't think it stayed very long though.

Cheers. I knew it was available but didn't realise it was only an option.

I have a proper middle seat belt but no centre headrest.

Must have been seperate options then.

Yup, I paid £45 for a rear centre headrest for my late Nov 2004 vRS, and also have a proper middle seatbelt rather than just a lap belt.

What are rear door pins? The only thing I can think of is hinge pins.
