Gearbox changed late 2003 / early 04 (to shorter ratio's)

Tailights changed late 2004

Dash top changed in 2005

Engine changed in late 2005 / early 2006 from asz to blt

Front grille changed in 2005 from straight cut to angled

Asr display changed in 2005 from a warning triangle to a sliding car

Colour coded door handles late 06

Yellow changed from lemon yellow to sprint (brighter) late 2006

Rear door pin delete 2005

Battery cover missing on later blt engines

Engine cover badge turned black late 05

I think thats all the changes but i may have forgot a few over the years

What changed about the dash?

I have a proper middle seat belt but no centre headrest.

Same here - proper seat belt but no middle head rest. 07 plate

The proper middle seat belt was standardised late on, it was only the headrest that was optional. The headrest wasnt that popular an option back then

 

Didn't the later ones come with the indicator lane change function, where the early ones didnt?

My 04 vrs had one touch indicators. So maybe on a 53plate maybe not but i dont know
