Ahh ****, I just remembered I tracked (well runway track layout anyway) my last M3 (e36 saloon 2 days after buying it and I had only driven about 10 miles in it) and I managed to spin it on the first corner.

Today I bought some RSRs to replace the concrete Michelin Pilot Primacy that were on my wheels.

Having done some wet work on semi slicks (OK they were the kumhos but same applies) you will be surprised as in the wet you will have better grip still than most if not all normal road tyres.  

 

I think it would need to be proper standing water to make them worse, and then I suspect in that scenario, no one is going to be doing much more than just pootling around

Combe is a faster track so suits yours better with longer straights.
