I wondered about updating this thread and showing that they are up to now, but didn't. I was lucky enough to see them racing at Croft a few weeks ago (see part 8 + 9).

I was Flagging at Sunny in corner. In the short lunch break we had I was able to go to the team and met Nik, who was very nice. He assured me Binky will be finished soon. There will be more updates on the truck too.

I now not only follow them on Youtube, but recently joined their Facebook page. Tonight they posted this update vid.

A month on and there's a small update vid on Youtube. It's all about how the wheel arch extensions were made. Not sure if the end was a teaser or a red herring.

It really is Project Binky.... in colour.

 

I have just watched it and was going to post it on here, but you beat me to it. Everyone was hoping it would be painted BRG, but the finished result is absolutely stunning . I have a feeling it has been done too early though. I think the car should have been started and gone for some test runs to find and faults and problems before the final painting is done. Things may need to be changed, more brackets made, etc.

 

I really do hope that once it is on the road, there is isn't a tree out there with Binky's name on it.

I watched their series on the little C1 conversion. It was very good.

Episode #37 tomorrow.    Today for patrons. 

The wait is over.  Episode 37 has been released to the public tonight.

Yep, after 18 or so months they are back. I wonder how many kettles and cups of tea they've gone through to get this far, lol. 

 

I can't see the vid on Rob's post so here it is. (hopefully not posted twice). It's been so long, they've made an extra long episode.

My 10 yr old is currently working his way through the entire binky series :)

Its a youtube thing i have no issues with him watching unsupervised, unlike so much of the car related dross i have found him watching...

hes really enjoying it and he told me 20mins agonhed just seen theres a new episode out 👍

Episode 41 is out today. Apparently according to their Facebook page, it's their penultimate episode. Ending on 42 must be special, they must be a fan of Douglas Adams.
