Fabia vRS SE - STOLEN IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE - Reg: BD07 VWR

Featured Replies

I'm willing to bet the truck its on is even on dodgy plates.

Total ****ter of a situation to be in mate

I was about to say unless it's a genuine recovery firm who they called and got to pick it up but then realised that most would question and maybe refuse a car with plates removed with no damage surrounding

  • I wish I'd double read what you said about them being dickheads! Crikey! If some people had brain cells on that page they'd be dangerous!

  • Hi I'm in Northants so will look out for it on my travels (not in my Fabia - my rad's bust!) keeping an eye out for your car (hope they haven't gone far as suggested). We don't see many SE's around h

  • They will have smashed the screen so it looks like a legit smashed car!!! Less chance of getting pulled. Hope ya find it!!

Sorry 2 here, hope they get banged up, I've a word for people like that I'll not use, best of luck

What number SE is it?

Helps with parts as the seats are numbered.

Which then makes any SE's without the numbered seats coming up for sale pretty suspicious and worth looking at.

Off the phone and on the PC, I see from your profile it's 865.

Gutted for you. :(

Sorry to hear about this mate, I frequent Leicestershire & Northampton so will keep my eyes out for it

Any news off the police?

Have you shared the new info with them?

I frequent West Midlands area travelling to and from east Anglia so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Sorry to hear :(

No, nothing yet Adam. And yes, emailed the officer dealing with the case and he's responded with what I though he would; needs exact location of the sighting, and company names on the flatbed etc which the chap that phoned me unfortunately didn't recall

Got the SE number on the seat? Then at least if any of us see it under a different set of plates or whatever we can tell?

Can't imagine having the house burgled and car stolen as well. It's a really awful thing to happen and I feel gutted for the guy. There really is some scummy people in this world.

I couldn't agree more! You see on all these cop programs always left off with a caution or let out on a suspended sentence.

I know how you feel mate, I had my Corsa D SXI stolen from outside my house. I took the dog for a quick walk and while I was out they broke in. The police suggested that they had been watching my house because of my dog (He's a good 65kg Bordeaux aka Turner & Hooch Dog). Soon as I took him out the took their chance. As far as I know the police never recovered it. Plates were found at the end of the street.

I feel your pain & I hope they catch the T***S

Dave

I've added this to the second post in the register.

Sorry to hear this. Great example too. Bloody scumbags  :@

Can't thank you all enough for sharing this around! Have to say I'm pretty overwhelmed on how this has spread throughout the UK! :)

Guess that's the power of the Internet and having a great bunch of people surrounding you! :)

Heart skipped a beat earlier when I saw an SE starting "BD07" pass through my town whilst at the chippy, couldn't remember the last 3 of your plate but there was a family in it and the windscreen was obviously not smashed so it wasn't that. Plus it looks like they had some shopping in the back..

My eyes are peeled for you bud.

Im up north but ill still keep an eye out.

Have you shared on the Facebook group "they stole my wheels"?

Send all info known and I'm sure they'll find it.

Northamptonshire have a pretty good ANPR network.
