Gearbox locking pin?

They do them and it locks the shifter in/out of a gear and so they can't do anything.

Not seen them iirc?

Is this one of those devices that goes over the handbrake and gear lever?

Thought I was going crazy!

You changed your location too? Could have sworn it said Birmingham before.

It was just midlands so I thought I'd be extravagant and add west to it :)

But it says Mid Wales now.

I'm baffled.

Ohh I'm going crazy haha I live right on the welsh / midlands border

Sort of mongrel territory then?

Yeah could say that!

Can't imagine her ladyship wanting to fiddle around doing that, but a good one for when she's not here and the car is lying idle locked behind the back gate with three cars in front of it.

Simplest cure if it's not her is a slip of paper in the points. Or a hidden kill switch in the 12v feed to the points from Dizzie. Don't put in the earth side as I had one bloke I know blow two coils insallating the body.

Get a wireless shed alarm with a battery operated PIR

sensor with a separate sounder box.

Leave the battery operated PIR sensor in the car

low down so passers by wont trigger it.

Then if anyone gets in the car, the sounder box will alert you indoors

that someone is up to no good.

Gonna get one of those for the garage down the garden.

Not seen them before, tar.

Not much use for her car really, as it's invariably buried behind the garden gate and 3 cars.

Anyone using one of these diy trackers then as mentioned earlier?

I have a bright yellow AA approved straight locking arm to fit on a steering wheel if you want it £5 +post.

Looks a bit like this http://www.worldlyneeds.co.uk/pack-of-12-streetwize-steering-wheel-lock-baseball-bat.html?gclid=CK7PpcqCq74CFQzItAodpDUAew

Thanks, but got a not too dissimilar wheel lock arm type thingy already.

Trouble is, anythug with a good hack saw could soon cut through the wheel rim, bend the two halves away and slip the device off.

Ok mate,  I do see your point.

Ok mate,  I do see your point.

The wheel on Moggsie is particularly thin too, so probably a rusty shaver blade would do the trick for Mr Scrote.

Sootie probably knows that from the first time around... ;)

I know not relevant to the Moggie, but I have just purchased one of these;

The only downside is if they become common knowledge the OBD port will then become one of the first places  :bandit:  look!

Hey Fin. That looks ace!

Why wouldn't or couldn't that be relevant to Moggsie?

Basically a diy tracking device like what I was wittering on about up there^^^ somewhere by the sounds of it?

Does the Moggy have an OBD port, as that is where the device gets its power from?

Richard what a stunner! You in to classic cars I assume?

I also had another idea! FIA style kill switch underneath a seat or hidden!
