Recommend me a GOOD clutch kit

Featured Replies

I'm after a goof clutch kit,

just wondering what people can recommend me to have,

the car is mapped stag1 atm with airtec cooler on it.

I am looking at going hybrid soon as well,

ideally I want to keep a DMF set up.

What ones would be ok?

i run a DMF and a helix 6 paddle and cover plate at 250bhp & 360ft-lb no slip no judder no clattering

is that a standard DMF or updated one? How much did that kit cost you

What dmf you using for the helix clutch then?

I don't want to use darkside for anything just far to rude on the phone and totally unhelpful.

That's a techni clutch. Deff won't be using one of them any time soon

I now it's a techni clutch but it's ment to be a Sachs kit so should be ok

but its been re-lined by them which is the prone ones for failing lol

Techni-clutch will cope with about 25bhp not 250bhp

It has been said many times. Do not scrimp on a clutch

Save a grand and get it future-proofed

its annoying tho, i have a exedy 3 paddle clutch in my 200sx running silly power and it only cost me £200 lol

Helix smf and clutch is brilliant but chatter is very loud. if you want a quiet car don't by a helix

Agreed but you soon get used to it though. :)

I'm not after the chatter so smf is off my list. I want a quite car still.

Sachs race engineering clutch and new stock dmf and release bearing

Should set you back £1000-1300 fitted

Complete pony

SMF chatter doesn't bother me. But only consider one if you are going for decent power.

No point if you only have a mapped car. Will make it hard to sell as it will sound broken
