Choices choices

Right my vrs wagon is due to have the 17" spiders refurbed but I don't no what colour to have them done in? Wagon is black I'm thinking about having them done in grey or gloss black but not sure?? Anyone got any thoughts or pics to push me into making a decision?

Fanks!!

Graphite grey

White

Anthracite looks good against the black I reckon.  Mind you, there's a lot to be said for a set of nice sparkly original Spiders too.  When the car and wheels have had a good clean, the Spiders contrast nicely with the black.

I had a set of spiders done in sparkle silver. So OEM but with added metal flake. On a black car they look very good.

T20 VRS!  Where did you buy your Octavia from?  That car used to live in Scarborough a few years ago.  Last time I saw it the car wasn't looking as good as that and was smoking like a train from the exhaust.  It had some crappy after market wheels on and the paint was almost a matt finish due to lack of care.  Seems like it's been resurrected and looks amazing!  Top job.

I just had some black plastidip and pearl overcoat turn up yesterday but looking at this they do look real nice in silver when all cleaned up. Your car looks real OE lush!

I think you may be mistaken. Purchased from a private seller in Colchester in 2011. 60 k on the clock. Full main dealer service history. He had it for 5 years and purchased from main dealer. Check out my build thread over the past two years

Right, maybe there's a variation on that reg number.  The one I'm thinking of was quite well known round here in the local 'scene'.  Even the Mrs said she recognised the number but time clouds the memory I guess.  Great looking car anyway.

edit : It may have been T80, not T20 - sorry

Anyway back to the thread. Shadow two tone chrome also looks good.

Skoda green would look awesome on a black car.

I've considered it on mine but don't think it would look as good on a silver car. So I'm torn at the moment as the quick gloss black job I did on mine needs tidying up. May just go back to silver or poss gunmetal.

Is it easy to do spray your wheels?

You can do them yourself and it's pretty easy.

Here's a few of my rattle can jobs

but if you want a longer lasting job then your better off paying to get them powder coated, there's a lot of places around that will do a great job for between £100-£200

They look amazing mate top job :-) is that just a primer and spray can ?

I'll second that as whatever shade of green he's used, it works really well.

Thanks for all the replies dudes lots of great ideas!! The guy at work went to do my wheels but on closer inspection suffer with corrosion! So now need to get them shot blasted! Any body know any good places I Southampton area and how much I should pay? Been quoted 65+vat but seems bit expensive??

Must admit the green looks damn cool but think the wagon will need dropping few MM to pull the look off!?
