Just a few words to say hello.

I have owned for the past 10yrs a Octavia estate diesel GLX now with a 196K on the clock , runs like a dream but with a few niggly electrical issues mainly the immobiliser. Have used this forum a few times now to sort out problems so thought it about time I joined.

Scala SE L 2024 Infotainment unit updates

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car. Searching the web suggested several different ways to get the updates to "Action" A couple of days ago I discovered that notifications may show what is goin

Hi all anyone have problems with water ingress over the rear door rubbers, opened the offside rear door today and there was water sitting on top of the rubber and just inside on the mat, wasn't a lot but is this common, thanks

Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD. Hello everyone, we have 7 seater Kodiaq from 2019. Does anybody know if it is possible to fit a tow bar in this car ? Also, I bought all in service some time ago - would fitting the tow bar violate the service ? Thanks

Dear Experts , Can anybody advice me what is the part about i.e side airbag or earthing ? This part is located near seat belt tensioner ( passenger front side on pillar of car,) two images are attached for info, image1 from YouTube shows big connector connecting two wires bit unclear picture, 2nd image is taken from my car shows some kind of adapter (843 ) not sure what it is connecting which is different from 1st image , not sure if any connection has been missed out to it is earthi
