FCM = Fixed cost maintenance

Looks like you can only change your mileage for FCM or lease agreements.

  • If you don't change the PCP, you will end up with less equity in the car (value less GMFV), but you will pay less per month.  If you do change the PCP, you will end up with more equity, but you'll pay

  • Trade-in values are a bit of a moot point anyway - the dealer could offer you the GMFV for your car just to clear the finance, but then a massive discount on a new car... or they could offer you loads

    Yes, you just pay for the service as and when. It also means you can haggle a little on the service cost. They will also let you increase the mileage if you wish, but it increases the cost by about

Just found that it offers me Contract Hire as well, is that what I need to use?

Nope, contract hire is a lease basically

Oh well, it seems that I can't apply to change anything then.

I'll just have to make sure I stay under 21k miles when I trade it in and specify a higher mileage band next time!

"During the war" in an uncle Albert stylie... we'd have just disconnected the speedo cable, probably doesn't work anymore.

Don't you mean reconnect it 1 month before each MoT so it has at least done some mileage since the previous test :)
