Default temperatur, Climatronic

Featured Replies

Recently in my MY2013 Superb, the Climatronic have started to always default to 22 Celsius after the car have been off for a while.

If I leave it at celsius 20 C when I park it, the next morning or after a couple of hours it's at 22 C.

I don't remember it was like this before. Am i wrong or any solution?

Thanks.

im unaware of any solution but this happens also in my 2011 fabia estate ive always accused the missus but after testing have ruled her out as the culprit!

22 degrees is normally the default setting. It's what is considered to be a comfortable temperature.

I know in my current Exeo and the Ibiza if you set the temp when in "manual" mode to say 18 then click "AUTO" both mine jump to 22

Clearly defined by someone who likes it warm (I was going to suggest a woman...). But I cant set it above 19 and be "comfortable"!!

Hi!

In mine the temperature is always at the setting I left it at when I turn the engine on, never changing even if unused for an hour or four days ... and that is normally 19 or 20 degrees.

I like it cool too, 22 is too high! However when mother is in the car thank you dual zone! She enjoys 24-26!!!

22 is the woman's setting, they are always cold ;-)

I'm always cold and keep it on 22 - does that make me an old woman???

On mine the tempretur is always the same as i left it. Except after using the webasto heater, after that the tempreatur is set to 22.

That's the setting for +32C

And it stays fixed - except of fan speed which is automatically adjusted even on manual mode.

OK, so after some different answers, it looks like I remember correctly; it should stay on the previous temperature.

Have anyone else experienced this and know a fix? Can I reset the Climatronic?

Mine has occasionally changed temperature of its own free will, but that's maybe 2 or 3 times in a year.

I've only had my car about a week but I have noticed that it had changed on it's own a couple of times. However, it seems to coincide with me running the Park Heater in ventilation-mode. I normally have it set for 21C, but it changes to 22C after running the ventilation... The rest of the time it stays where I left it.

If it works like my VX does you should find a setting in the car options to remember or forget the last settings the cc was set to, hth.
