hi guys im really embarrassed to put this up and im awaiting the abuse and sarcasm so go for it. purchased the pictured plastic nut remover of ebay and ive managed to remove the four standard plastic covers, but the fifth cover (the locking nut one) is completely different and this tool doesn't hook onto it. I hope one of you can point me in the correct direction as im struggling!

I can't see the photo but the 'proper' one should be like a two sided claw that hooks into the groove that is around the top. Have you got a different pic to upload?

Try long nose pliers?

just search on ebay for skoda plastic nut remover and its there for 2.99 same as on demon tweeks. it works on normal ones but not the cover for the locking nut starting to really p**s me off!

pliers will fit just be very careful and wiggle 

I used long-nosed pliers too.
