Tell Skoda to sort that blasted website out AGAIN then.

And let us have a petrol engine!

Does the Fabia Monte Carlo count as a special edition?  My mate just signed for one this afternoon 0% and free servicing.

Popping back in the office tomorrow, will raise the issue  .......

...... then collect my P45  ;)  :D

Apologies for going OT. I'm trying to keep pace as much as possible with the changes so as soon as I get details I will aim to post in the relevant sections.

I don't believe it does as it went in to full production. I could be wrong, all the time out of the office has taken it's toll so I do aim to keep up to speed as much as possible but from what I've read the Monte is included. HTH

Makes sense thanks.

I got zero % 5 weeks ago on my Superb.

The finance is taken out when you get the car.

So while the deal when you ordered is applicable I can't see any reason why you can't change your mind about needing the finance... and then have a change of heart and get the current deal.

In other words you should have the choice.

You didn't sign the finance paperwork yet and you have a 14 day cooling off period anyway.

Offers changed last night ,examples above.

Heard radio adverts today for this voiced by John Culshaw.

Adverts state valid for orders until 30th September 2014.

No mention of needing to be delivered as per Ford and Jaguar latest radio ads.

Keith, I'm confused, there's an invisible quote within my quote   :giggle:

Gadgetman, what station was that on? The impressionable John Culshaw, work must be tight at the moment  :D

Unbeliever! :p

Just as a matter of interest, is 3 years free servicing actually 3 years or just 3 services (i.e. about 15 months)?

Yes, I do a few miles.......

Yes, I do a few miles.......

If you do a lot of miles you'll use up the three years allowance of services early, as you'll hit the distances before the 12 month periods.

So at 20k miles per year it's less than 3 years etc...

Yep, quite misleading by Skoda, what they should say is 3 years OR 30,000 miles free servicing, whichever is reached first.

Or better still just say 3 free services with unlimited mileage and allow for variable not just fixed servicing.

Service No.1 - £139

Service No.2 - £139

Service No.3 - £139

Brake fluid change - £49

Just knock me £466 off the price please and I'll sort my main dealer servicing myself.

As all cars leave the factory set to variable servicing most dealers forget to change the service intervals to fixed during the PDI or when a customer signs up to the free servicing.

The owner waits for the car to flag up it's need for a service, the problem is because it's on variable and you cover average mileage the car doesn't ask for a service until 20,000 miles or two years. No chance then of getting in all three services before the 3 year time limit.

I'll say it again Skoda, stop being awkward and just say 3 free services with unlimited mileage and allow for variable not just fixed servicing, it won't cost you anymore.

Oh, actually it does though doesn't it, because there is less chance of the customer not getting in their 3 free services that they are entitled to.
