turn off vRS alarm 'beep' ?

Hey guys, is it possible to turn off the loud alarm 'beep' when you lock the doors and set the alarm? I would much rather rely on the flashing lights to know it is locked/unlocked instead of making lots of noise when unpacking or putting the car away at silly hours of the night. I live on a crowded estate and get the feeling i'm going to get egged or worse one day.. :rolleyes:

If you find someone on here who's in your area who's got VAG COM then they'll beable to turn it off for you.

So everyone,who's got VAG COM to help this owner out?

Find the person/persons who switched it on for you and ask them to switch it off :)

Its not 'on' from factory.

As said above any dealer or persons with VAG COM can do it.

That is if we are talking about a factory installed alarm.

Ok thanks, i'll ask them at the garage when I take it back later this month for it's new door seal. It was on when the car was delivered so I presume the dealer switched it on. It's not that loud in the day but at 4.30am it seems to echo all over the place. :P

I also need to disable my "autolocking" after 10mph! If i stop to drop someone off they yank yank yank and yank at my door handle - No one realises you have to pull the handle twice! Why do i fiddle eh? :o

If one is attending Trax, then I'm sure I can manage.
