Newer with more miles or older with less

Go for the Blue one. You'll be relying on the next buyer believing the service story as well else it doesn't have FSH...

I wouldn't believe the lease company, heard lots of stories of 80k lease cars on the factory air filter etc.

Ohhhhh I prefere the blue, black is a pain to keep clean, blue is the one for you!!! ( that rhymed and everything )

Go blue, explaining missed service paperwork if you shift it on will defo cause you a lower trade in value.

Even if it was not physically stamped in the book, it must be recorded on the Mazda UK system. All uk main dealers record it on the computer.

You need a full documented history in your hand if your handing over top dollar for it.

I'm sold on the silver and have gone for that one.

It is in best condition (like new), looks like it has been garaged and used as a weekend car. The underneath looks like a 1 year old motor. The colour is also nice, it's not a bog standard silver but a slightly darker aluminium which I wanted in the first place.

Service history is thorough and accurate:

1st/12500 2955 miles 06/09/2010 Mitchell Mazda

2nd/25000 5897 miles 07/09/2011 Mitchell Mazda

3rd/37500 8395 miles 21/08/2012 Mitchell Mazda

4th/50000 11435 miles 06/08/2013 Mitchell Mazda

As the 5th service is due soon it will be done before I collect it.

Nice one Austen, will look forward to seeing the new machine at the next meet up mate :-)

Cheers Andy. See you at the August one.

Am I correct in thinking that leased cars have to be serviced correctly as part of the agreement so should both be maintained properly? Both have FSH and mazda have an electronic record unless done by an independent garage.

Both are September registered so a year between them.

just so happens that hire vehicles are fastest vehicles you can get.... as it dosnt belong to anyone as such they get ragged pretty my their whole lifes.

The silver one was privately owned. Just the black one was leased. Not hired in the general sense but long term lease hired.
