No wonder it is so cheap, that lube is completely useless!

Why do you say that Jab?

 

When I asked on this forum what oil to use for my petrol superb estate, that item was the one that was mainly recomended.

Can be pretty useless with a 1.4 TSI CAVE - CTHE Twincharger 132 -136 kw used hard, like on track days, might be more accurate.

 

A better performance oil might suit them better, & perform better and reduce the chance of issues.

 

In normal use and other engines, being the recommended oil, it should be just fine.

Just my private opinion having looked at the spec sheets and from experience in my engine - that oil is not rated for track work experienced oil temperatures. Absolutely fine for normal use but when it gets to 130C it "thins out" too much. It also has no fuel dilation resistance and at top revs twinchargers run very rich.
