  • Another great meet, with 20 cars in attendance.   Big thanks to all who came, and the weather was fantastic   Nice to see some new cars in attendance as well   Quick pic of the turnout

  • Great meet, fab weather and good to catch up with most of you on the day.... As i got there a bit late - apologies if i didnt get chance for a chat.   Looking forward to the next one already - Than

  • There's a limited number of 'next to' places for alexmayyyy - and they get booked years in advance.   Ask Alan or Adam if they'd be prepared to swap!

Might pop over to this if i remember and arent busy. Looks like it should be busy.

Hope to see you there :)

They have a playground that should keep them entertained for a bit, it worked with my little one at the last meet

Great news.

We have a kids party in the afternoon finishing 3:30 so I don't think we will be there until 4:30 depending on traffic. What time are you guys heading off for Fish & Chips?

Dont worry Mark we will still be there at that time

Mark,

I'll be bringing my youngest son with me, I shan't be stopping for long as I have a list as long as my arm todo on saturday, it's rather fortunate that this is on the way to Wickes which is where I'm heading that afternoon.

Great, what time are you there till?

My eldest can entertain herself (nearly 6) but my youngest will need my attention/supervision (shes only 2). Kids eh.

Failing that I will leave the kids at home and come for a blast on the bike. Are bikes allowed at a Brisky meet? :p

Dont worry Mark we will still be there at that time

Thanks Damo,

Hopefully the kids party will finish on time than its a quick sprint over from Chesterfield.

Damo,

Was going to add times to the calendar entry, but I can't see any. What times are you in the pub from too... before heading for chips etc.

Cheers,

Colin.

Great, see you Saturday fella :)

I doubt I'll get there before 15:30 and will probably stay for around an hour, I did contemplate coming on the bike but I doubt it would move with the paving slabs & sand that I have to take back to Wickes

Now that I would like to see :D  Be something like you see in China etc where they use the bike as a delivery truck :peek:

Forgot to mention...ive come on the bike to work this morning. Bring on home time for a nice long way ride home

It still takes me at least 1hr 30min to get home from work, & it doesn't matter if I'm on the push bike or motorbike, it only takes 1hr 15min if I cycle straight home :)

I didn't notice the time this morning but at the time I go to work traffic is minimal so I reckon in the Van/Car/Bike its less then 10mins (not fit enough to cycle but I think that would be 1/2hr-1hr because its all up hill lol). Going home can take 40mins due to traffic.

On the way home I think it will take me about an hour and a half, maybe even 2 hours :D

Anyway Damo will be along in a mo to tell us to bugger off chitchatting in his thread lol

I dont think chit chat bothers many ...certainly not me

Chat away, just save something to talk about at the actual meet :D

putting my name down for this, black pre-FL octy vrs,

looking forward to picking a few brains and getting ideas for mine....

then back to the noobs table for chips :)

Gotta work tomorrow n Sunday night but if I get a good sleep tonight I will be there until 4pm

Either that or turn up at Blyton next week and not know anybody!

I was going to come to this as i am yet to attend a local meet and i would add to the mk1 fabias.

unfortunately thanks to the nice weather i have been roped into laying a patio so will have to wait till the next one.

will probably pop along to the dub show on sunday though if anyone here is going. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/318461-sheffield-dubs-meet/#entry3811899
