Next Yorkshire Meet - Saturday 26th July - The Old Post Office pub just off j38 of M1, 3PM

Just to let everyone know,  I didn't apply the sticker... (As you very well know John!)

I measured the centre and JIM-VRS applied it slightly off centre to the right

Another great meet, with 20 cars in attendance.

 

Big thanks to all who came, and the weather was fantastic

Thanks to ChrisRS for the show and shine, gave a bit of an added dimension to the meet, and a bit of fun too.

 

Congrats to the lucky winners, and here they are receiving there prizes off Chris

 

 

Also cheers to JIM-VRS for enabling the hidden menu in Columbus with his VCDS

 

And nice to see Mr Briskoda himself Colin Densem turning up unannounced

All new faces for me, despite being  a Brisky member for over 9years this is the 1st Old Post Office Meet I've been to & hope todo again.

 

I thought it amusing that no-one would park next to my really grubby tank :)

 

If I'm around next time there is a show & shine and my car is as grubby as it was today you can scrape the bugs & muck off my car to spread onto those in the competition

Enjoyed the meet despite the weather - too hot for me and I can't understand people wanting to go somewhere even hotter! Hopefully will see some of you next weekend at the National, otherwise at the next Yorkshire meet.

Hi guys, big apols, didn't get home from a LOOONG HOOOT day working in Sheffield till gone seven, was done in by then, caught some TDF highlights on TV, will be setting off after breki to a day working up at Huddersfield.

 

BUT, Sun 3rd A/L booked and The Blue Roomster WILL be making an appearance at Blyton for the National; watch out for the mini-blue-fleet too!  

 

Did any Roomsters show up? There are others in Yorkshire, and the Skoda dealers at Sheffield had at least two visible as we passed on our way back from exhibiting at "Tramlines" in Weston Park.

We got there just before 6pm... shame you didn't see us all

 

The convoy up the motorway was a fantastic sight in my rear view mirror as we rounded the bend... a line of various Skoda's

 

The missus tried to get a picture but the road straightened, so we could only see Adz

 

Bugger, I should have been a bit more patient! Must have missed you all by minutes, would have been good to see the convoy pull in. 

Sounds like you all had a good afternoon any way, hopefully I won't be working next time and can be part of it.

Great meet. Good work Damo and thanks to those who made it too.

 

Ear wigging, lots of really good conversations, knowledge and sharing is great! A few were not even about SKODA  :yes: . Brilliant. Bit of a punt up the motorway too. Although as offical briskoda safety car, the citigo only just caught the shirttails on the M1 of the convoy.

 

Good to see the hard work in detailing paying off too.
