Hello everybody,

Wasn't sure where to post this but I just wanted to say what a beautiful morning it is

I went out driving last night to the gym and then a slight detour on the way home and even though I have had my Furby Vrs for a year now i can't help but smile

I don't think my car normally suffers from heatsoak, it isn't remapped, but with an air temp of 15degrees last night and 12 this morning the car feels so smooth and fast.

Last night the drive was through the (very hilly) Pennines for about 12 miles and in that time I overtook four or five people...not because i was driving like a loon but because dispatching slower traffic in 3rd gear is SO easy My last car was a 106 with 60bhp so being able to do this still makes me smile, and its so great to be able to keep a nice rhythm without breaking the speed limit but passing people struggling up the many hills etc.

I just wanted to share my happiness really, and tell anyone thinking about getting any Skoda that they are a bargain!

Talked to a mate on the phone and some TV so nothing that exciting!

Going out tonight though so maybe thats why i'm in a good mood

I picked my Fabia vRS up yesterday morning and can't leave the car alone.

The route I take to work means I often come across tractors moving at slow speed and normally I wouldn't attempt overtaking on these roads in my 1.2 Polo as there isn't enough clear visibility ahead for the time it takes the polo to get to speed. The Fabia is a completely different story, I came across the usual tractor this morning in the same place so I nudge the car out to the right slightly and see the road is clear and with almost no effort go round round the tractor ..... amazing! I am no longer the driver behind the tractor holding everyone else up because I'm too scared to overtake.

Lol yep, i will feel like a kid at christmas if i get it. From what i have seen on the BBC website most shops are sold out though :thumbdwn:

Grubb, the Fabia Vrs is amazing for overtaking, which actually makes it much safer than my old car! There is nothing worse than slowly passing someone with your foot welding the accelerator into the carpet! Especially if the person you are overtaking decides to speed up :eek:
