Hi, A Few Days Ago Some Stupid Car Thieves Tried To Steal My Car.

They Have Broken The Drivers Door Lock, The Barrel Just Spins Round When I Put The Key In It. Also, They Got Into The Car And Tried To Start It By Smashing A Screwdriver Into The Ignition Barrel And I Now Can't Start The Car.

The Car Is A Felicia 1.3 MPI.

Could Anyone Help Me With How I Replace The Ignition Barrel And Drivers Door Lock?
I Am No Good At Doing This Sort Of Work Haha. Pictures Would Really Be Appreciated.

Thanks For The Reply Devonutopia, It's Not Hard To Do A Capital Letter For Each New Word, I Have Been Doing This For Ages .  I Will Get A Quote And See How Much It Will Cost A Garage To Fit New Parts. I Could Easily Code The New Key To The Lock Myself. 

If It Is Too Expensive, I Will Try And Do It Myself. 

Also, Would A Haynes Manual Cover The Repair Or Have Any Useful Information About How To Do The Repairs?

You can remove your chips from your old keys its so easy to swap the bits your self.... find a scrapyard and have some fun its a easy repair to do. Haynes manual is ok for some things.

If you have a air bag disconnect battery 1st... and do whats needed..... then before connecting battery leave ignition on then connect battery this should stop air bag logging a fault leaving you with air bag light on..
