LOOK OUT, HERE I COME!

Fabia engine is now running! It fires up thanks to finally being able to program this vRS key.

:woohoo:

Still lots more work to do so not getting too complacent, but it WORKS!

:woot:

Now its time to analyse all the other dash warning lights and nip them in the bud. ;)

:orb_cool:

Chris

:D Congrats

Congratulations. Jason .... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

When will the "flip & roll - tests" be done ? :sofahide:

Ooh in time for Trax I see :P

Seriously, not wanting to run you down mate, well done

Well, I'm raising coilovers an inch until I get the sump guard, lots of interior trim to refit - I still need the bumper back from the bodyshop so have wires for foglights & temps sensor hanging out the front.

Might also have to remove some LEDs from the dashpod as well. Some warning lights are going to be on permanently, so need to remove the lights so they don't annoy me. ;)

Also, need to figure out some symptoms. :D

Been a long time coming, well done, soon have it on the road for christmas, think of the road tax you've saved. :)

well done mate

good luck with the rest of it

Congratulations - all downhill from here!. Don't forget to take photos of the trim replacement.

Egor.....is alive :D

Brilliant, I'm actually chuffed for you Jason, this has been too long in the making, just can't wait to see it!

Looks like your theory on posting here was correct. Well done!

Good stuff

Well done, Jason. I see from your other recent thread that your car's top speed is limited by the 1300rpm available. Time to ask for an insurance discount, perhaps? :)

Not sure if this deserves a :finger: reply, but instead I'll give it a #

Deffo need the vRS throttle - plug was slightly different on loom, wouldn't go in deep enough. Easy enough job to swap throttle units over though.

Laters

What about more pictures, Jason ?

Well done jason.

Great to hear it is running

Hope you get the last few bits and pieces sorted out ok :)

Well done Jason. .......see what happens when you stop playing with golf sticks and messing about on boats......very nearly called in on you today.....wish I had now.

Hi Jason. Just saw this post - well done!

Jamie

Just seen it myself, way to go. Frankenstein has been born...:D

 good job

Great news mate.

You're deffo gonna be on the road before me.

Jason.......you better have one good looking body-kit for your car..since you went through all the trouble to fit a vRS engine in it, you SHOULD have a kick-*** kit to go with your work

Nope - The front bumper area is going to be something fairly unique to expose the FMIC in all its glory, but aside from the vRS rear bumper, MS Design boot spoiler and the lack of side strips, the bodywork is remaining standard. Like the sleeper look. ;)

Andy - keep going! The moment you lose morale is the moment you might give up, like I nearly did more than once. This thing will be a beast and I can't wait to be road legal. I need to visit the DVLA too before I can be classed as "roadworthy" ;)
