9k on the clock, just coming to the end of a 1 litre bottle of oil.

 

Is that normal (mileage is mostly 6th gear, 90mph 69mph on motorways)?

Just under 8k and not had to top up yet.

Mine is around 25.000 km and almost 2 litre oil so far.

80 % on motorway at 150 kph and sporty driving style

I kick it only after the engine is warm. During the first 2000 km I drove carefully.

For info my diesel consumption is around 6,8 litre / 100 km (long-term, according to the computer).

Mine hasn't used a drop between 10k services.

 

It is now on 23k and still not used a drop.

+1 here, not a drop used between services, done over 25k now.

Done 9k not used a drop yet. Not driven like a typical skoda driver.

On 15k now and used 3/4 litre

First service @ 18,300 miles, not had to top up at all since taken delivery.

I would say less than 1L in 10k miles would be considered normal consumption so nothing to worry about.
