I was wondering if it is possible to activate the cornering fog lights in Rapids, as for example in Citigos. Has anyone tried it yet?

 

I have a scheduled appointment tomorrow with the dealer, due to some electronic glitches in my new Spaceback (twice the left hand electric windows went dead, plus I occasionaly get a blown bulb warning light without any bulb gone dead). I will also check the steering wheel setting (would like to set it to sport instead of normal) and avtivate automatic door locking. So it would be nice if I got to activate the cornering lights.

You should get cornering fogs with the style pack uk spec has them i do

 

Style pack includes fixed panoramic glass roof, extended tailgate glass, black rear spoiler, 

black door mirrors, black rear lights and black cornering front fog lights PTT - -   £916.67 plus vat= £1,100.00

My Uk spec Elegance has them as standard so I would think its possible.

The Style Pack in Greece includes everything you mentioned, with the exception of the cornering fog lights (although they are black). On the bright side, it costs only 800 Euros (VAT included) = £632 (by today's exhange rate).

Actually, I believe that the whole car is a lot more sensibly priced in Greece than in the UK. I got my new Rapid Spaceback 1.6 TDi 90 PS, in Elegance trim (the top spec in Greece) in Corrida Red with the Style Pack for 16,900 Euros (VAT included) = £13,356.

 

Returning to the subject of the topic, I am thinking that the cornering lights just need to be activated. Anyone who knows how to do it? By VCDS?

Hi Harishma23, 

How did you go with activating the cornering fogs? In Australia too, only the ambition gets this function. 

The workshop of my dealer can neither activate them nor change the steering wheel setting (the option is in the system, but not selectable).

I need to find someone with VCDS...
