Thank You docc , i know this Policeman quite well & did not belive he was 'yanking my chain'

Like he or she will fu or disable an emergency unit...i doubt it very much. I have heard they do man handle vehicles that are in the way. But a line of cars.....noooo.

Having got home late last night & spotted a parking space, it looked very tight specially as you really need to put 2 wheels on the kerb due to narrowness of the road, I looked and thought  O.K. let's see if the park assist would work do it, as i would not have attempted it.

WOW it actually got the back wheel on and the front ' JUST ' then had me take over, it took 2 forwrd & 2 reverse to get positioned.

While i was quite impressed how it worked previously, to get into a really tight space on the kerb as well is WELL impressive.

That is a HUGE parking spot...  You could have parked that yourself blind folded let alone let the PA do it for you! Gosh come to London to see what sort of space the PA can get you into - which is about a good 20% smaller than that one.

I'm sure it can (though I haven't dared try it yet!).  My big worry, though, is that although it can doubtless get you into (and out of) very small gaps indeed, that leaves even less room for the cars to the front and back of you to get out without bashing your car.  Particularly in London!

True. But I normally only park in a really tight spot like that when I'm the second last car. And then park close to the last car since they can just get out easily anyway as they are at the end.
