Hi. My skoda octavia vrs 2006 1.8 tai starts but does not accelerate. I changed throttle body by still issue is persisting. Plz help me out

My skoda octavia vrs2006 petrol car starts but I m nt able to accelerate, I guess car has gone to safe mode. Results in scanning came that there is no connection in between accelerator nd throttle body. And even my cat had gone red hot. Please help me out as mechanics are guiding me through wrong by telling I need to change ECM

Hi, I've got a 2015 octavia scout mk3, manual 2.0 diesel, with 135,000 miles. It's service is due. It's looking expensive! In the last service there were some advisories. These were: Front main oil seal starting to leak Rear prop shaft starting to split Front arm rear bush delimitating Both front shocks leaking Haldex service due Brake fluid due I've asked my local VAG independent garage to do the service. Very confused and apologies if covered elsewhere but can't find it... looking to get a towbar fitted for caravan towing and an independent towbar company is warning about coding and about the rear emergency braking kicking in and not letting me reverse with the caravan in place. Another has said they can fit a towbar but I'd need to take it to a dealer to get it coded. I've contacted my local skoda dealer and they've quoted £1900 for a towbar to be fitted!!
