Krystal Kleen & LiquidElements products

Featured Replies

Hi All - i've been looking around for some more products to sample and Marc Linekar over at Krystal Kleen has been very helpful.

He seems to do a fair range of items and good prices. As yet still to test the majority of them...

So far - had a play with Mist-X and Trim-X.... both very impressive.

Next batch of samples...

Pretty much full range on offer....

Anyway - thought to share and i'll update more as i go along testing.... and perhaps get a discount code sorted if possible.

Seems a really good range of products developed by a guy who does some top detailing.... but never see it mentioned much.

Some history on KKD:

Krystal Kleen Detail was originally formed as a valeting company in 1989 providing a mobile valeting service around Oxfordshire. Over the last 25 years it has been a slow and steady journey to reach the present day where the core business is now a static unit based detailing business carrying out anything from a full valet to an in depth detail entailing leather repairs, paint correction and just about anything that can be carried out on a car as part of a restoration process with the help of the many associated companies we now deal with. Just under two years ago I became disillusioned with my suppliers of bulk chemical products and after a fortunate introduction to a commercial chemist developed our first products which were BRAKE AWAY wheel cleaner and BLIZZARD Snow Foam. After that the options became huge and any product I liked I decided I would see what could be done to make something better from a performance point of view, economy and general ease of use. I think we have made great progress there with quite a range now being stocked and outstanding feedback from both retail and trade sales and also increasing interest from resellers which hopefully in the new year will see a few start to stock the brand.
On the back of our own brand we were introduced to the Liquid Elements brand and were impressed by the quality of their products. And after working with them we decided they would compliment the KKD brand well as they are also designed by the company owner who shares the same passion with product development as we do. We are now the sole UK distributor for the Liquid Elements brand and again have huge interest from potential resellers for the new year.
2015 looks to become quite a year for Krystal Kleen Detail and Liquid Elements UK and is a very exciting prospect. The support from the social media community has been huge and I can only say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us over the last 18 months for helping us achieve what we have so far.

EDIT:  many thanks to Marc for the quick reply and acknowledgement. Discount code for you guys is BRISKODA10 for 10% off.

Give it 24 hours to activate on the website just to be safe - any issues - let me know.

Good review, I also prefer the foams that are thinner. Like you say they don't hang around on the drive etc. plus IMO when it's running off the car it is loosening dirt better.

  • Iron Rain V2 doing its stuff

  • Some pictures of Krystal Klean Details Seduction Wax. Pleasure to use. Forgot to upload these a few weeks back so.. here they are Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

I've got the Tar & Iron remover, but not used them yet.

Also got the Mist-X which I used on half of my neighbours bonnet last night & my regular QD was used on the other half. Car is going to be stood for a while so I'll keep an eye out on it for her. Want to see if there is any visible difference with dust & water spots & whether it affects the beading. 1st impression is that it was very slick.

Thanks for posting the thread, looks like you have the full range.

Thanks for the heads up Ste. Just been browsing their website and looks like some good products at fair prices so looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

The microfibre offer also looks good so let me know how they are please!

Cheers chap! As per another thread on here..... i tested Mist-X, beside FK-425 and then Sonax BSD last night.

Sonax maybe shouldnt be included - but i'm using it as a QD; easiest to apply.

FK-425 was next easilest to apply, but Mist-X needed a bit of buffing to finish.

BUT - as you say - the result from Mist-X was probably the slickest of the 3.

Oops - sorry! Didn't mean to interfere with your wax addiction Carl...  ;)   :giggle:

I'm sure Marc will be at Waxstock - so be sure and say hello if you see him at Krystal Kleen or LiquidElements stands.

I've known Marc for about 6-7 years and he's the one who taught me how to use a rotary all those years ago!

I havent seen him in a while as he moved units away from just down the road from me, but must look him up again soon. I havent used his stuff yet as I've got a garage FULL of products to work through but need to have a look once stuff starts running out.

If you havent seen his work then you are missing out - he has HUGE amounts of experience from many years in the trade. Here's a pic of an Atom he did a few years ago and he and I then spent a fun afternoon messing around photographing it in his unit :D

Only known Marc for a few months - but he always has time to give a detailed response on the other forums i use;

he is willing to pop a product sample in the post, help out in any way possible and also arranges Group Buys!

The pictures of his work are amazing, plus his product knowledge is superb.... definitely a good contact.

Managed to get in on a Group Buy with Marc also clearing some of his LiquidElements stock.

I think iShine Car Care also do these; the XXL Monster towel is quoted as 1300gsm; 50 x 80 cm along with freebie Quartz polish MF 40 x 40 cm & free delivery.

Loving some of the offers coming up plus Waxstock promotions - thankfully i'm now on holiday for a couple of weeks, so the bank balance can recover!  :D  :giggle:

Never say never Carl.... but on drying towels; i don't expect too many advancements by next year TBH.  :giggle:

I am watching the main detailing forums for "other" interesting product releases; and have my name down for samples already....  ;)

After recent tests on Trim-X and Mist-X, i'm amazed these products dont have more visibility.

Purity-X sample on the way - thanks Marc Linekar...... some detail on this stuff.....

PURITY ‘X’ is an extremely concentrated blend of siloxane polymers. It can be used as an aid to the wash process during the final rinse or can be used purely as a spray on sealant depending upon dilution rates used.

At dilutions of 10:1 it can be used as a conventional sealant. Apply to the panel via applicator, wait to haze and then buff clear. This will provide up to six months durability.
Can also be applied through a foam lance. When 5ml is mixed with 500ml of water and applied to the vehicle surfaces it will act as a sealant application and provide a stand alone layer of protection with enhanced gloss levels or boost the existing LSP. For regular maintenance work 1ml in 500ml of water will maintain the finish and hydrophobic qualities

Can be used on all painted surfaces and also glass. Comes supplied with a 10ml syringe for accurate dosing and economy.

Sounds interesting ste.

I think so Carl. But until tested - i reserve judgement. It won't be for everyone i'm sure...

I've now tested a few products for this guy and simply can't fault how they perform.

Moreover - Marc is doing regular group buys for key product selections; he is always

keen to get the key detailing guys to review early release products and offer feedback.  ;)

So great prices, great products and free postage on everything so far.

That does sound good and very good of them to let you test them.

I'm very addicted to QD'S and wheel cleaners at the moment, don't ask why lol.

...Marc currently has 2 wheel sealants under trial - almost ready for release.

Hoping to get involved on that one too.... but we shall see if he offers them and at what price point.

Sounds good ste let me know what you think to them, should you get to try them that is.

I know it sounds crazy but I don't ever want anything too amazing as then I would be hobbyless lol.

I'm gonna be 34 tomorrow and family and friends have asked what I want, and every time I've said money to put toward detailing products they think I'm mad lol. You can't change what you enjoy right! :)
