Hello everyone, I've joined the forum as for the first time in my Skoda owning life I have a Laurin Klement spec model so have some decent gadgets which in themselves create questions :D

I have a 2011 Octavia (Laurin Klement) and a 2012 Superb Estate both are DSG

Both bought both this year, the Superb was planned as we needed a bigger car to replace my wife's Micra after we had a baby.

The Octavia not planned but my trust 56 plate was rear ended a couple of weeks ago and was written off, so another one had to be bought.

Love Skodas, great cars don't see myself driving anything else to be honest.

Welcome to Briskoda. I could understand the need to replace the Micra with a Superb Estate if your wife had had sextuplets, but surely it is more than a touch OTT for one baby? Whatever, lucky you. :)

The Micra was 3 door so we wanted something bigger, also my wife has this huge pram\buggy that you can take the baby out jogging with. Now we have the baby the couples long haul holidays have been replaced with trips that we drive to so hence the estate. The plan was to replace the 56 Octavia with something smaller when it gave up the ghost, but after my wife was rear ended she wanted to keep another Octavia as he said she felt safer in that size car if he was in another accident

Hello and Welcome to the forum!
