What to use instead of a sponge?

Managed to get the small and large dooka pad as they are back in stock. £35 inc postage so hope they are worth it!

After nearly destroying the paint on my black Honda Civic with a sponge I went over to noodle wash mitts. One for the bodywork and one for the wheels.

Also two buckets - one with the Meguiars shampoo & conditioner and the other with cold water to rinse the wash mitt.

The paint on the Honda is the thinnest outside of F1. Thin, easily chipped and scratched on what is a £21000 car. I should find out on Monday when I'm likely to be getting my new Rapid.

Car pro wash mitt also got a swissvax wash pad that's unopened at the mo.

These are the ones I'm getting at Asda for a pound.

Perfect for wheels, doorshuts etc and throwaway money...

At that price anyone who is still using a sponge should at least give one a try.

Quite literally cheap as a bag of chips.

Thanks for posting up grr666.

I'll be picking a few up when next in Asda. :)

^^^ I would rather use a house brick, it will have the same effect and be cheaper.

That's worth a challenge :)

I'll round up a car load of Lithuanians if you use a house brick

Can I film it? Lol

No need, the local PL hand car wash also own this tyre fitting company

I have watched them put their sponges on the floor then use it on the next car!
