It's a lot more keyless as you don't have to touch one.

I like the tactile feedback of the current system. Nothing to fumble about looking for. Walk up to the car and just open the door. Sit in the car, press start button. Finished with car, touch handle before you walk away.

No key is touched at anytime.

And the lock on the drivers door of course.

And the child locks in the rear doors, too?

Thanks for the response guys, really appreciate it. The Mazda system is good because you hear it beep and lock when you walk away. As a rep ive always got stuff in my hands especially when I'm staying in hotels. So I get out of the car in a tight parking space, grab my shirts and bags and then ive got to wipe my hand over the handle, I just don't see the saving in hassle.

I just wanted to check that this is how it works.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm an engineer, so am often leaving the car with laptop, tools etc, all you need to do is touch the handle, back of hand, elbow, anything attached to the key works. I don't find it too much hassle, I think I'd find the Mazda system annoying, especially if you walk off leaving someone in the car.

And the lock on the drivers door of course.

My driver door does not have any key holes :-)

I think you have to prise part of the handle off to expose it.

Oh yes it does.

This.

Seems so - there is a cap you can remove with a key. If you look at the bottom part there is exact hole to stick key and remove cap.

And also indeed the child lock can be turned with the tip of the key.

Thanks for the lessons :-D

But the point remains - Kessy is awesome ;-)

Leave the key in the car while washing or far enough outside the car.
