He caught me going straight on at druids, whoops! I hit the brakes a bit too hard, the ABS kicked in and knocked it out of gear.

 

I had a quick look through my footage and my best lap was about 1:11.

1.11?  I must be similar in lap times as there wasn't much in it if I remember right...

So lucky to have gravel traps! Castle Combe was a little less forgiving today in very similar (awful) conditions!!

Must say I'd absolutely love to do Brands again next year if we get the opportunity the whole weekend was just fantastic.

 

Meeting with Damo, Janey and Tom at the hotel, having some food, a few drinks and then setting off early for a day that just got better and better. Then on to more fun at Brands, weather didn't deter us we just all had great fun.

 

Then what really summed it up for me was the way everyone chipped in helping each other out and how it was like we'd all known each other 100 years... I think it really is amazing the community spirit Briskoda has. I don't think I've ever experienced anything like it. Actually makes you really proud to be a part of it.

Hopefully a few more people will chip in and make them £1 each (30 images I think). 20 images at £1.50 each actually costs the same as 30 images at £1 each, so if we are short of the 30 mark then we might as well order a few more photos of any other cars of interest (Alex's R32 GTR maybe!). Richard will you be able to upload all the images to Dropbox or something and share the folder once we have paid you?

Shame I missed you guys in the hotel. Had a really good day and as you say - the rain didn't dampen our spirits and there was a great atmosphere in our pit garages. Even though I didn't turn up in a Skoda nobody seemed to hold that against me!

I have some 4gb ones at work from when I bought the first batch of Blackvue300 two years ago that are spare.
