The Clio changed direction so fast and cornered to well I felt a bit sick when I got out! Brilliant little car for doing just that.

Did very much enjoy the clio.

Think it's a good thing that we were all some of the fastest cars out there. Must have been Jake that made us that fast. That or Skoda drivers "aren't afraid to write it off"

I've had a little look at the video footage and quite a lot of us were overtaking the scoob, jags, caterhams etc...

Wet days are a great leveller.

 

I've checked the memory cards and all the footage is there from my runs up to about 2:30pm when the GoPro battery died, plus the Roadhawks worked correctly in Ben's and Hobbit's cars.

Will go through it all over the net few days and post some up.  Once I've run it past the drivers first of course.

I think my spin was a bit more tame than Taylor's and Ben's. I didn't even manage a complete 360. More like a 110 one way and then back the other.

Have heard from Alex (the Black Skyline driver) and he wanted me to say a huge thanks to you all for your help on the day after his little off.

Usually people just stand around and look, but he was impressed with the Briskoda group and thier willingness to pitch in and help each other.

He really enjoyed his day with us, other than the last 20 seconds obviously.

He's going to send me some videos later, but for now here is the one of his moment.

You'll notice then when Jake seeing it's going off he pulls on the handbrake to slow the car in the gravel.

Just some panel damage, It was when I was changing my tyres back. 3:30pm-ish?

Front wing, indicator, completely scratched down nearside and rear panel dented somewhat.. so very unfortunate in that regard, but could've been much worse. Luckily both were ok.

Cable ties to the rescue!

It wasn't the best weather for spectators but the on-track excursions gave us a chance to join in, helping to de-stone tyre beads, clear undertrays, clean wheels and windows.

 

Taylor wins the prize for getting the most gravel in his tyre beads, Ben for the simply unbelievable amount gravel scooped up by his undertray, Evil Miyagi for squeezing gravel into his brakes and Alex for managing to drive all the way from Druids back to the pits and still having gravel on his roof.

 

Pleased to see everyone was able to drive away at the end of the day despite some apalling conditions and that BF had a chance to test his monsoon-class wet weather tyres.

Was good to meet you Mr Kent! It was difficult to get that piece of gravel out of my brake I had to reverse!!!

No mate, I was plagued by technical difficulties through the day and only caught 2 sessions :/
