Recommend a seat for a growing little un

Featured Replies

The boy has just turned 4 and is stretching again.

The current Britax isofix seat he is in is starting to look a little neat.

Anyone recommend a seat for the next stage?

Money not really a problem since we'd hope it would last to 11/12. Would rather pay more for a good one.

Grannies have both bought a Brittax that was on offer, it's seat belt only. not sure if that's best for use that will use it more regularly.

We have had Britax KidFix Isofix seats for both our kids from the age of about 3 or 4.

The oldest is now 9 years & 134cm (almost tall enough to legally not need booster seat at all) and has been using just a cheap booster seat with no side from Halfords for the past 4 or 5 months.

The youngest is 6 and still in the Britax with side bolsters.

I don't personally see that the more expensive seats offer much over the KidFix!

You'll want a group 2 -3 seat to take them up to the age of 12 (if you wish to use it that long).
