Citigo Black Bonnet, opinions needed

Featured Replies

Well I have tried my best with the paint shop on the PC to mock up a somewhat image of what the citigo might look like with a black bonnet mirrors & roof (I did admittedly steal the photo from the citigo picture thread through google images so if its your car and want me to remove the photo just ask :)) I want opinions on what peoples thoughts are on it, I'd like at some point (hopefully) to have the mirrors/roof wrapped black and now weighing the options of if the bonnet (and grill) will look good wrapped black also, please forgive the awful attempt of painting the bonnet through paint, I did work hard and did my best, all opinions be it hate or admiration are welcome

I personally don't think it would look good. However I'm not the one owning/driving it. If you do go black I think you would need to do the bonnet, roof and boot. or maybe the middle section (not top or bottom) of the wings and doors. That may be too much?

I don't want to comment.

Roof, mirrors and tailgate spoiler yes [emoji106]

Not the bonnet. That's OTT.

Looks like you've replaced the bonnet with an unpainted pattern part lol

So it does appear the vote goes to keeping it standard, this was just another mad diabolical plan I had in my head but it's ALWAYS best to get the peoples vote first before doing something everyone will think looks stupid :D

Does it really matter what other people think as long as you enjoy/like it? Do you buy the latest trainers because almost everyone else does?

True, but I don't even know if I'll like it, I wanted others thoughts first :)

Did you recently have the bonnet resprayed? A shame to now have it covered in black paint, or are you doing it for a reason? :wonder:

Yes but, before the respray there was a very noticeable kink in the bonnet but respraying it removed it

Have it wrapped then as you can always peel it off again when you decide whether you like it or not ?

I wouldn't wrap it myself, never done it so wouldn't be a very cost effective way to go about it as I'd go to a company to do it

Dont do the bonnet!!!!

It looks like what most of the local boy racers around my way went through a phase of doing with their clapped out Corolla hatchbacks (of the 1994 vintage...)

"oh yeah, it looks carbon fibre, especially now i've put the FAKE bonnets lifters on it"

the big dirty diesel smoke marks all up the back of the heap didnt give the game away at all....

Jesus...

Don't panic! I've already decided based on other people's thoughts not too :D
