No, as modern diesels are fitted with DPF's.

I have looking for this since a bought my vRS. Having an exhaust fetish, I was very disappointed to find my vRS had 2 dummy exhausts! So I await any info, and prices. But I have a consen of the quality of the dummy exhaust trims!!

I love my vRS TDi… but it does sound a bit like a warmed up tractor a lot of the time.

 

The Top Gear favourite where you floor it in the acoustically perfect Alpine tunnel would be a bit disappointing with the standard exhaust!

Exactly..... which kind of begs the question, "Where is the price coming from"?

I've asked this before, any benefits in terms of performance or do diesels not work the same way as petrol in terms of tuned exhausts?

Performance downpipe and lose the dpf and there will be gains.

So as it is, it will probably sound similar, the car will go the same and it will only be aesthetically pleasing if you lay under the car for long periods.

Better off with a different set of alloys, or better still, keep the money in the bank.

Seems big bucks for a back box.
