Hi everyone, I am loving my roomy skodster so far, one problem I have found though is this, opening the door while the car is wet means it drips into the interior because of the way the door fits into the bodywork, poor design if you ask me.

 

Happens on the rear doors of my Superb as well, especially as I have just polished and waxed it.

Happens on most cars now as rain gutters seem a thing of the past.

After years of owning a convertible I hardly noticed a few drips on the seat! But as said without rain gutters it’s almost inevitable.

Yes, my old Rover was the same....

Mk1 octy hatchback is the worst I've seen. If it's rained, all the water that was on the glass is now in the rear speakers.

There is a large area of steel above the doors and rain runs into the door seal. When you open the door it empties onto the seat squab. What is more annoying is when the water freezes in the seal and stops the door from opening
