Big alloys arent always a good idea on a van

My old bosses Sport came with 18 inch wheels and when fully loaded, they were forever blowing tyres.

We do oil and LPG heating so were always out in the sticks on rough roads.

Ended up buying smaller aftermarket Fox alloys eventually.

I took a tipper up a farm track and that was bad enough and a puncture

I don't think those ones will ever see a building site, dirt track or get laden to the hilt with gear ;)

The new Skoda Octavia MkIII is available with a three pin socket as an optional extra.

It is where the rear ash tray would normally be.

Much better I've heard and much closer to the Transporter than the last transit.

All the ones I've seen have been well spec'd with body kit and 17" alloys similar to the Focus ST.

I don't understand why people keep thinking the transport are the panicle of vans. I have two highly spec transporters at work which both are 2ltr twin turbo diesels 4x4's dsg's. Yes they are good vans, are they any better than a similar spec transit, no. And at 10k extra for the transporters I would never buy one with my own money.

I quite like the Sportline but to be honest at 30K used I'd buy a Superb and a cheap van! In response to another post you'd be surprised where the Transit Sports go it's bad enough where I take the Combo with alloys but the boss goes up these tracks in a lowered S5 one track was so bad for me in the Transit Flatbed it knackered a tyre and I had to borrow a farmers pickup to unload mine to change the wheel!

Did you know the sportlines come into this country with cloth seats, the leather covers are made here and put in here. You can also buy the sportline seats for your van from the supplier.

Yeah it's done either at Docks or Dealers same as the bRS SE ones iirc
