Thing is Police Officers called about abandoned cars can be totally uninterested, even when no VED and they have been told many times,

they say contact the council.

That is until sitting outside a councillors house or a member of the Royal family is due a visit and the vehicle is in the are they are securing drain covers and such.

I have a few friends in the police..paperwork...& we are supposed to be paperless with this tech...apparently it should be called papermore...

they just don't have the time for it..

  • Just installed my replacement tax disc.  Best hope I don't have to go anywhere in next 2 hours.

Yes points means prizes was not a success and that pilot scheme to encourage Police officers doing the job they are employed to was knocked on the head.

Graduates want more interesting things to do than menial jobs like enforce the law on law breakers and the likes.

Handy when they want a reason to stop a vehicle though that no VED shows on the APR.

Today's paper:

" DfT shows that lost revenue for cars and light goods vehicles soared from £32m in 2013/14 to as much as £97m in 2017/18 "

So that went well !

so to raise that good old chesnut road fund tax, abolish it and load fuel so everyone has to pay to use their cars   ----   like here a la frog!!

reduction in police time etc --  its got to be good for the uk as a whole!!
