This guys name is going around forums as a rip off merchant done a few people over

They have now got police involved etc

I have seen him on here before

I've sold some bits to him in Redditch, so can probably find the address I went to.

Yeah, I got full address in Bromsgrove.

 

However I am a little concerned as this person has been good as gold with me, buying bits of Octavia off me, even originally signing up for the April Action Day track time, but then had to pull out.

 

Not sure what is going on.

 

I also know he had a lot of tuning done at R-Tech.

From what ive read on this forum and other vag uk forums, hes taken payment from people and goods were never recieved or any contact made

Last I heard on facebook he blew up his K04 vRS (not surprising the way I read he was driving it sometimes) and had a green golf TDI mk3 I think, to run around in.

 

I can see now his facebook account is deactivated.

 

If I am asked for his address to recover money/goods, I am happy to pass it on, although really if it became a police matter i would sooner (only) supply it to a P.O

Hello again guys its adam day from uk vag 20vts on facebook the police are involved and the fraud investigation. I have gave bowders the phone number to contact the fraud investigation and a crime reference number. He has ripped off loads of people and will be ringing them myself in the morning with further updates. Thanks again guys.

Yep aware of that post and Adam has been very helpful with details. I will be contacting the fraud team today.

It's all too easy to do though. Chat to people a bit. Sell a couple of genuine items then do a runner with the next lot.

Quite often people won't report it and if they do you can point to the satisfied customers as proof you aren't dishonest. Police have little choice but to treat it as a civil matter.

Doesn't mean much as i know OccyOccyOccy that used to be on here went to meets, sold a few things, etc, then he started doing a runner with peoples money. Police informed, etc but never went anywhere and was told to take him to small claims court.
