Superb load retaining system - does it fit in an Octavia Estate?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know whether the boot load retaining system (the telescopic ally bar and the belt thingy) would fit an Octavia vrs estate?

Are these the ones that fit into the tracks on the boot floor?

If so there are no tracks on the standard boot floor and I don't think that they are fitted to the variable boot floor either. I've seen some pictures of the variable boot floor with bars in the back, but I think that these are roof bars stored in the car, not to stop luggage moving around. There are some bits of plastic that can be folded out and stuck to the carpet floor via Velcro to stop luggage moving and you can get a net system or ratchet straps to secure items using the luggage hooks.

Thanks BS - yes they are the ones that fit into tracks in the boot floor (same as A4/A6 Avant as far as I know....except std in Superb, cost option in Audis).  If there are no tracks then they won't fit.

You should be able to make them fit but I doubt it would be straight forward or cheap.
