ACT150 1.4tsi Golf, A3, Leon SC or BMW120 Xdrive?

Featured Replies

Is that 109g Co2 / km and £20 a year or 115g / £30 VED?

As mine is the Leon estate and it has the optional 18" wheels it is £30 VED & 113g/km.

It's a shame the auto box isn't available as it works a treat in the BMW, especially now that it's linked to the Sat Nav (clever) and in a BMW seems to generally get the nod as the best instillation of the ZF gearbox by a manufacturer. I really liked my old SEAT Toledo, except the pink-ish interior instrument lighting drove me nuts! (getting old doesn't agree with pink instrumentation :D )

For the sake of another update on the BMW side of this thread, the current facelifted 120d xDrive is available with the ZF 8spd auto.

Perhaps it wasn't available when this thread started.

That sounds a very nice little car, but I bet it's expensive once specced up a bit.

It's auto only, no manual option.

Yep, little bit scary - £32-33k without going completely mad with options!

Ah I see, as I'd be looking at autos anyway, I didn't realise they didn't offer it with manual

That's M135 auto type of money (admittedly without the 4x4 :D)

Yep, absolutely. There also seems to be a higher level of dealer contribution for them....

Then you remember that our LHD friends get the M135i xDrive option. Damn them! ;)

I remember there was a lot of conjecture that the LCi version of the M135 might have come with X drive. Still, it's certainly fun without it :)

Just think if you wanted to combine your Suzuki and BMW into one car.... :D

I might end up with a super economical snail of a car, that snaps into oversteer every time you pull out of a junction :D

initially 120xdrive was manual only. With the facelifted one (LCI Spring 2015?) it's only available as an auto.

Still have my V50 and unfortunately someone in a Fabia VRS clashed with my Forester last week.

I couldn't own a manual 1 series, the offset clutch cripples me.
