Where would you go next?

Featured Replies

Posted this here as its a question for mk1 owners

When you finish with your mk1 and assuming you jump ship to another car maker.. What would it likely to be?

Not a renault lol

Depends on funds :)

Vw gti or R

Or a evo if i could lol

I would never leave the VAG family.Next I wish an Audi quattro and combi

been fancying a passat just lately :D mk2 octavia will probably be next car

Probably a 530d or 535d estate.

Top of my list is a mk2 vrs

But

Other options i would consider in the correct order

Volvo s40 t5

Bmw 330i/330d

Zafira VXR

vectra 2.0t--- i no i no, just ****ing shoot me now

Audi S4 V8 to tow the track car and haul family gear around, as I don't think you can tow (legally) with an RS4. Then get crippled by fuel economy, sell it and go back to 1.8T or 2.0TFSI.

Rs4 not rated for towing by audi... Not even sure the S4 is?

What you want is a vectra haha

mk2 vrs or 330d forget the rest

E39 530i or an Evo. Tried a mk2 vRS and didn't really feel it tbh.

If such a thing existed I'd be pretty happy with an Alfa GT with a 1.8t bam engine...

Thats a boss fox special order....

Im reckoning a mk2 octy, Superb, Passat or A4 next....

I had the pleasure of using a nearly new focus st a few weeks back. Amazing machine! I've wanted one since.

Ten years old and still going strong!

No intention of changing cars yet.

I would love a V8 RS4 though.

I've always fancied a proton wira as a project car, you never see them about either.

Please can I have a v6 4x4, all options Superb. Can you also add a belt driven puffer

Thanks

No me neither. But the time will come one day. Probably end up in a volvo t5 s40 or a zafira vxr( if my family extends)

I can see sense in a 530d (550d performance? )

But with regards to your Vectra 2.0t....are you mad?!

2015 civic r turbo?

Amg 45? (Or anything that does 200bhp per litre)

My family could extend indefinitely and you'd still claw my cold dead hands from my car keys before I bought a people carrier - vxr or not :)

Ask your self what do you need from the car and what are you using the car for

Perhaps two cars one for family that's boring and then a weekend car maybe

Face lift MK2 Tsi Vrs, or wait until the MK3's Vrs's come to the end of their 3 year credit plans, so when people chop them in for another new one there should be plenty of low mileage 3 year old Vrs's on the market.

I love my VRS to death, but put up against a 5 series, it is just not refined enough ether inside or on the road, but with the different list prices, they shouldn't be.

Probably need to compare the maintenance plan too..

Absolutely, but as a used buy they are very good value as some poor individual took most of the hit from new. To OP, my boy's work friend has a Volvo and loves it, also agree about the ST, boy's place has a Mountune demo, .................................awesome
