HELP - Rear Fog Light issue

Featured Replies

2008 Skoda  Roomster 1.9 diesel - the nearside rear fog light is not working.

Drivers side is fine.

Checked the bulb and that is fine.

Fuse seems to be shared by both rear fog light so not an issue.

Any known trouble spots with rear fog lights? Any pointers?

(typical.... MOT tomorrow!)

There is only one foglight connected, and that is the offside one. EU legislation states that only the offside is required, your car will have only had one working from the factory. Every Skoda for at least the last 15 years has only had one working foglight.

The same clusters are used throughout the EU, so go to France and they work the other way around.

Sorry not a solution to fixing it,

but,

Did it used to work.?

ie Is it Enabled to come on and have 2 rear Fog Lights.

In the UK, 1 Fog light working to the rear on the Offside or centre will be enough for the MOT.

They only ever fitted the wiring for one! Look in the Fabia technical guides for the dual fog mod and fit that!

It is a Roomster.

It is a Roomster.

Yes which will be the same principal as the Fabia!
