are the VRS sills WRC special ed only, orcan you order them from the dealer, only I didnt see them in the acessories brochure

Not sure about Accessories Brochure but they can be ordered as one of mine was damaged & was replaced by the dealer

those vRS sill covers look cool, where can u buy them from? can you get ones for the rear too?

Where can you get regular ones for the regular skuds? I fancy some protective strips there as mine get a fair hammering sometimes, and they're not in the best of nick...

Butts are probably the people to try...

Doorsill covers are listed in the Octavia and Fabia accessories catalogues. They are £18 (or £45 with Fabia logo) for 4 for the Fabia in the 10/01 catalogue. The standard ones for the Octavia are also plastic and come with or without the Octavia logo. I can't find any reference to vRS ones.

CHRIST! - so you pay an extra £27 just to have the Fabia logo on them. bloomin' 'eck! Seems a little extortionate to me.

So if I pop into my dealers with £18 I should be able to get some unbranded sill protectors... wonder if there is anywhere cheaper?

I quoted the vRS sill protectors to my dealer, and I think I crashed his computer because it didn't recognise the part numbers. He did confirm the £18 (unbranded) and £45 (fabia branded) charge for the Fabia sill protectors (4). He empathised with the extra £27 for a fabia logo, but said he couldn't comment officially due to working for Skoda. (he said he personally wouldn't pay that much...)

so the dealer cant find the vRS ones? did he say how much for the set?

Try looking at the Butts website if you need prices. To save you the fun of searching for "Butts" on google (a slight running joke on Briskoda it would appear), you can find them at the following URL:

You have to download their catalogue as a PDF file (pain if you're on a modem) and its password protected. If I remember correctly (and I'll soon be corrected if I've got it wrong) the password is "spiderman".
