Where are all the 'Black Edition' Octavias?

Recommended Posts

I think gloss white might look a bit too 'chav'

Are the black Turini wheels gloss or satin finish? I can't remember bending down to look at them in the showroom.

Cortina63, what do you mean by the 'rear bumper treatment' ?

Oh, by the way, I still haven't seen a white BE on the roads yet, must lead a sheltered life.

Enjoy collection day Jon. Post some pics if you have time.

Ironically my Black Edition has been sitting at the dealership waiting for...erm...my optional black grille surround which is out of stock! You couldn't make it up!

The springs are on a permanent 2 week back order so I've cancelled them and I'll re-order when they are showing as in stock.

I did a 300+ mile trip today up the country to Durham. The cruise and DSG make it effortless. Averaged 49mpg as well, which for a brand new car I'm well pleased.

Crawley Down Group (where I got mine) have a white estate and hatch in stock - I think they are 1.6tdi's - along with various Superb Black editions. Ask to speak to Richard in sales. Can't recommend them enough!

The one in my post is from Derek Slack in the Boro, bought this one for me and the lad to use (learn in), not too bad on insurance neither, as it's in his name. Might not look like it in the pics but he's well chuffed.

Well worth the wait lads, your be happy with the cars.

Treated the missus today and put another dent in my pocket with purchasing her a Rapid sport.

Just couldn't have her making excuses to drive MY Black Edition any more!

Those Rapid Sports are tidy Gav, wouldn't a steering lock be a cheaper solution though or are you a secret weekend Rapid driver?

Never buy a car for the Mrs that you wouldn't drive yourself is my motto!

Was a nice looking little motor, will save putting the miles on mine at weekends!

Might swap over the flashly steel pedals and 3 spoke steering wheel to mine haha

I see the point - but how about a Corrida Red Estate with Black Pack and dark alloys then?

Try the Post Your Octavia 3 Pictures thread. I can't recall seeing a pic of this exact spec though.

Doesn't sound good, where did that happen?

I've got no idea unfortunately I work for a Trade Parts Specialist site that supplies parts to a VAG approved body shop that deals with transit damaged vehicles.
