So it's been a while since I updated this but I haven't really been driving the car anymore as I've bought a van for work and the car comes out on the weekend, which I have to admit makes it so much more fun! I have been looking into getting a 335d but i since the van I think I can hold off for a while :D well until I save up that is

It did get cleaned this month for the first time this year and I was quite happy with the results!

Anyway to get to the good bit! I took a trip down to sva imports (a very well known jap import company in Dover/Folkestone) I got too see their time attack car running 940bhp at the wheels and 1000 with nos! Old pic tho :/

Anyway my friend put his supposedly 245bhp stage 2 fiesta St on the dyno first and it pulled a very decent 250bhp with 207 at the wheels, this was a good sign for me as me and him are really close there's nothing init, I was hoping 240

But reality thinking 235ish, but a couple of runs on the dyno and it run 254bhp and 210 at the wheels! I was over the moon! I'm very very pleased with the results mainly curtsey of johns mapping!

All down to John working his magic :) how's the octy?

Just read this from start to finish, glad you finally manage to sort the rough start issues out. Nice figures you made on the rollers too, certainly makes for a nice car to drive.

I'm pleased mate, still a few bits and bobs I want to get. But all the little things don't half add up!

Going in for an exhaust system tomorrow. EGR delete and stage 2 map upgrade next week or week after :)

Ah good! From what I've seen I like! :)

Well I thought you'd have realised that with the Fabia ;)

Very nice, what figures? And who's mapping?

Thanks southy :) I fell back in love with it after the starting issue was eliminated and the lsd put in, only get to drive it at the weekend tho, I've definitely found I appreciate driving it more :)

Yeh mate just took a lot longer to do fabia. I've only had the Octy 5 weeks and spent a fortune :D

It's mappsd by shark so just getting their stage 2 upgrade for now. But I'm hoping to get it mapped by John at some point we need to meet up for him to take some logs etc :)

Haha always the way! If the Fabia is anything to go by I'm sure the octy will be as good when you've finished with her!

Do you have a build thread?

Not much of a update as I have really drove the car recently, but I have been doing some little bits like rubbing the chavvy paint on the rear lights (what was I thinking it was too dark) and bought some light smoke film tint happy with how it tuned out.

1CDDF0FA-1CE9-4C82-AFF6-E8BEF3290799_zps

Also done the front lights but no pic as yet, and be refurbing a set of 256 rears I've had for ages!! Just need to get some bleed nipples and they'll be on :)

Here's the worst bit! I woke up this morning and walked to the car went to the boot and opened it, but I had to look again as something wasn't right, turns out some total scum bag has tried to rob my rear badge and failed! All for the sake of £12!

Need their hands chopping off mate...

Liking the lights :)  Word of advice though - if you've got Silvervision type indicator bulbs, take them out and fit some normal 'egg in the nest' type ones. As the film isn't conducive to running them - makes them too dark.

Can't have anything nice without people getting jealous and feel the need to touch stuff that isn't theirs! Car will be getting parked on the drive again, only reason it's on the road as its my week off and the vans on the drive as I'd rather use the car :(

I always intended to go for those bulbs but thanks for that I'll stick with the normal :)

So the times finally come, I'm returning my pride and joy back to standard ready to sell, due to lack of use. It's had its ups and downs, mainly ups and I'm guaranteed to miss it but it feels right to. I'm hoping to start on the weekend weather dependant. Sad times :(

Sad times.

Soo she's come back to me :D I let her go Saturday (done a deal with a bike with a friend) and as soon as it left I regretted it! I realised I made a big mistake even tho I didn't drive it! And watching it get taken away with someone else driving it I hated it lol so I managed to get it back after some talking and she's now sat back on my drive! :D

You're mental haha!

I kind of regret selling mine, but there was some things I didn't like, so plan with the next one is to do it the way I wanted it done!
