DAS-6 PRO PLUS due for release

Featured Replies

FYI guys....

The all new DAS-6 PRO Plus polishers all packed up and on their way from China!

Based on the current best selling polisher with a new body and exclusive 15mm throw.

So all in all - the Bigfoot LHR15 copy that was expected....

Should be ready in time for Xmas....

PS: EDIT - pricing confirmed @ around £150 point.

Thanks for that, looks very interesting. Might get one to compliment my DAS6 in the same colour scheme :)

Thanks for sharing.

Interesting.

This is the one I was waiting for! Saw this on Facebook last night from your 'like' Ste and immediately sent some strong hints to the mrs!

Tim @ CYC confirmed around the £150.00 mark & some units available in a few days, full stock before Xmas

Nice one Ben - i thought a few people would have picked that up on the FB thread...

Don't think it warrants replacing my normal das 6 as does everything I need it to already. :)

Not something I need or would buy either Jason

BUT

If they ever copied a Rupes LHR-12E...that would be a different matter!!

Certainly Jason - just wanted to inform the folks who might be looking for Santa to bring a new toy this Xmas  ;)

Another option on the list and i'm sure Tim and the CYC team will do a great package deal too.

What would one of these do better/differently to das6 pro? And would the occasional use weekend warrior be able to tell?

Bigger throw = better performance

As a once in while polisher (Weekend warror) to remove light swirls, glaze, apply wax, buff; the standard DAS-Pro would be more appropriate IMO

Main thing i would state.... but without testing - should offer better performance, but woth less physical vibration.

Well positioned controls and a better balanced machine....based on its similarity to the Autobrite DA-21

Interesting that the 15mm throw plus looks to have come from the same manufacturer as the Autobrite 21mm throw DA.

Looks like they are sourcing the DAS21 and DAS6 Pro Plus from different places.

I like that that they named it after a caffeine tablet too

Indeed - it does look the same design as the Autobrite DA-21.

Interested to see how the change in throw from 21 to 15mm affects the vibration levels overall.

I want to get one of these and a Flex VRG 3401side by side for a quick test ideally.
