    You'd be surprised what you can get bored of!

    I spent 7 years travelling the world with an average of 1 in 4 weeks home... I hate business trips now!

    They were fun, and I'm very lucky to have seen many very cool places/things (ask me some stories at meet 21!), but these days I much prefer to be home with the Wife n dog!

    Yeah I'm in, back to normal evenings, definitely prefer shooting the breeze in a cold pub car park than getting my head punched in! Need to find a way to do this car crap for charity!  :nerd:

    Wow we are being hard on the Diesel Astra!!.... The 2.0 cdti lump is powerful and quieter than any VAG diesel I've heard and gives the Astra a sub 10 second 60 sprint, Sure the Astra itself is a bit dull, but the way I would look at it.. if its good enough to be commissioned by the Police force, It cant be bad! :nerd:

    Nope not Driven one, I am assuming by that comment there a bit poo ? :D

    To be honest, after driving it I was quite taken aback at how well it drove, after the issues with the past car's it is a bit of a breath of fresh air, 2.0 165 CDTI lump goes well, it has 15000 miles on the clock, is a 11 plate car and has lots of warranty, servicing etc and is a 1 owner (motability) car.

     

    SWMBO has already said that we need a reliable car and we can look at getting an American Dayvan again, we had a Dodge Ram for a bit and were both gutted that we had to sell it.

    Well, I think I will do my best to come along to this one! Missed a couple I think...? Last one I was on holibobs, can't remember about the one before?

     

    I'll make my mind up which car to come in!! ;)

    don't suppose you got back to that Rapid did you?

    Lee, I'm on that delivery tomorrow and Monday but, tomorrow is my little girl's 7th birthday so I won't be hanging around or walking round flower beds, we play with Semi-detacted houses on a saturday, it looked like one building so deliver all the mail to one letter box, standard answer if anybody questions you is "you've seen the film Meet the Fockers well, now go meet the neighbours" LOL

     

    I'll report back next week.

    Having spoken with the actual owner of the car and not his Dad, the vehicle is NOT for sale, sorry guys.
