Shark 150 tuning results

Featured Replies

Thought this may be of interest to some of you. Shark just released on Facebook their 150 remapping results of 197bhp. Sounds impressive to me.

Wonder when this will be available? Nearly 200bhp and 4wd would be nice :-)

Also shark are only about 20 miles away for me

Available now according to Facebook. Think the price was £649 and all done over your OBD port.

So tempting! Might have to get this done once I've had my 10k service in a few months

Shark or dtuk, the question in now :p

Think I'm gonna go with shark as I've yet to see 1 bad review or comment regarding their work, shame i have to wait until the sts is available for my car though.

VAG can't trace the tuningbox, I dunno enough about the remap to comment

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

Also Shark is not available International as I see it.

DTUK use Royal Mail Special Delivery which will get most places, not too sure about the "Milky Way" though, could always sub-it-out to the goofy-ginger kid with Shanks Pony though.

Dtuk was originally my first choice but having read some mixed comments I'm not so sure, shame as it's only a 20min drive.

Surely if it's only a 20 minute drive away, you could ask them for a try before you buy.

I'm sure they have a test loom, and will let you try it, probably show how it fits & answer any questions while you there.

Totally risk free. Worth a call at least :)

.....and all done over your OBD port.

Does this mean they don't need to physically access / modify the ecu ?

Slightly off topic but, assuming you guys are good and inform your insurers, which ones do you use. I'm with Ageas ('cos I'm old) and they have a blanket ban on chipping/re-mapping.

Nah just gonna wait it out for the sts, i prefer the map on a file that actually uploads to the ecu.

I've had a few quotes for with and without the map and it's not too steep so no worries for there for me.

That's correct, we don't need to remove the ECU, it's uploaded via the diagnostic port with no physical modifications.
