You can't have too many torque wrenches mate! :-)

I am shuddering at the thought of someone clueless using that scratch removal kit. :(

If the ratchet spanners are the same as the ones I got last year, they're really good for the money.

Cheers mate!

I'll defo be taking a closer look at that torque wrench. Will be good enough to do bits n bobs on the motorbike

Most of you know this probably but always wind the torque wrench back to 0 after using it

It can mess up the calibration over time if left torqued up.  It's something I do with mine too. :)

I have seen even more clueless people using pan scrubbers to clean their car with... Scary scenes.

The spring that's in side of it that is calibrated to sense the right torque and do the clicking when at tension can stretch if it still has strain on it (wound up) this then puts the torque calibration further out

As part of our company liability insurance they send out people to calibrate all our torque wrenches, micrometers and precision equipment as well as checking the ramps etc for security so we don't use our own wrenches at work otherwise we have to pay for calibration

Saw exact same today. Going back one evening this week with the polish for him. Luckily he only used it on a bit of bird muck and not full car. Seen people use the rough side of a bath sponge too

Going back with polish?

Give him a little slap first. See if thatll get him thinking straight haha

I would be tempted to pop over with an extra bucket and wash mitt also

Sent from my Galaxy S5

Never been to an Aldi but will find one and have a look

I'm waiting for their motorbike socks to come up again, bought some on eBay and they are great.

Good thinking. Got a few spare noodle mitts. He will be pleased. Going to spend a couple of hours with him on car so hopefully he doesnt use the scourer again. (On a new Golf GTD may I add)

Haha oh i see. In that case. Slap and run! Lol.

Oh. And leave the vrs engine running...

Saw the title of this thread and it got me wondering if Aldi were now selling Skodas lol!

My torque wrench has been under maximum torque since 2007 so that must be forked lol

Think a boot tidy might be in order if its small enough

Some great products and bargains at Aldi and lidl these days. I have the Lidl and Aldi smart phone app to alert me to the up and coming offers. I wont shop anywhere else now.
