2004 octavia 1.9tdi 90bhp non pd clutch

Featured Replies

Cn anyone confirm whether or not this model is fitted with a dual mass flywheel. My clutch is starting to slip and pricing around for a 3 piece kit is giving me conflicting info on whether it has or not-do not want to order a standard kit to find out it has a dmf once gearbox removed and everywhere is shut . one supplier has offered a solid conversion kit at realistic price-can anyone help?

As standard it has a dmf all octavia's changed around 1999 to dmf as standard. I would recommend the smf.

een quoted by euro car parts for a transmech solid flywheel conversion kit for 133 + vat -has anyone used one of these coz heard some reports of them being crap and another causing camshaft fault/failure? Planning on doing it tomorrow evening so appreciate any comments on these clutches

thanks again Jon

Never heard anything about transmech but heard the valeo kit is good. Try darkside developments. There kits have good feedback
